Paranaque City resumes Philsys registration

The Paranaque City government has announced the resumption of registration for the Philippine ID system on Wednesday, September 29, for those with online schedule only.

On the official Facebook page of Mayor Edwin Olivarez, it was announced that the Philsys registration site will not accept walk-ins.

The city government added two more registration sites for the national ID system.

Registration will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 pm. at the 4th floor, IT Zone, in front of the workstation in Ayala Malls, Manila Bay, 3L Building A at SM Sucat; ground level BDO wing SM BF, and at Cinema 1 and 2 lobby, 2nd Level of SM Bicutan Building B.

The city government encourages those who have not registered to book via online registration at register.philsys.gov.ph.

The Philsys registration was suspended on August 2 with the declaration of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in the National Capital Region (NCR).

The city government recommended the suspension of Philsys registration due to the new threat of the COVID-19 Delta variant and ECQ declaration in the NCR to limit the movement of people.

Philsys aims to establish a single national identification system for all Filipinos and simplify public and private transactions.
