Kris Aquino admits 'hindi ako ang magulang ko, hindi ako ang kuya ko'

Kris Aquino reflected on the past months via social media, recently.

She described it as a rollercoaster ride of sorts noting "may sobrang lungkot, may very stressful, (someone special to my brother & now me was in ICU BUT survived), and may special & unexpected."

She maintained she now completely understands why her mom, late former President Cory Aquino, would often remind her “to whom much is given, much is expected in return.”

Despite the ups and downs, Kris is thankful that a certain brand promised they have her back.

According to Kris, she actually did a promotional post for the brand the day prior to her brother former President Noynoy Aquino passed away.

According to her the brand actually waited until enough time had passed for her to post it on social media.

Kris then later declared she's donating her talent fee for the said post for government healthcare workers "who are yet to get their backwages (we are in contact with PGH)."

"And I’m giving the rest sa Malabon program: Karinderiya para sa Kalusugan nI Chikiting," she added.

"Naniniwala pa rin ako na may kinabukasan ang (Philippine flag). Kaya para sa mga bumubuhay sa ‘tin ngayon at para sa dapat mabuhay na malusog para makabangon tayong muli, kayo ang pinili ko."

Prior, Kris noted how she's so unlike her mother and brother.

"Hindi ako ang magulang ko, hindi ako ang kuya ko- BUT everyday I’m grateful more of them is coming out in me, especially my ability to make the difficult decisions when needed and to put others’ needs before my own," Kris said.

"Alam ko ang ilan sasabihin dapat tahimik ko ‘tong ginawa pero kung hindi ko ‘to i-post, hindi makakalampag yung kailangan makarinig that it’s our responsibility to have our fellow Filipinos’ backs."
