‘Emily In Paris’ season 2: What we know so far

Practice your French, or maybe not, as Emily Cooper is back to us more of the City of Love.

The American girl in Paris tale continues as Netflix releases the first images of the second season of “Emily In Paris,” and so far we are loving the fashions courtesy of costume designer Patricia Field.

After ending its first season with Emily and Gabriel, finally, embracing their feelings for each other, it looks like a new guy is in town to enter the scene, a fellow expat who both infuriates and intrigues her. According to its official synopsis, the new season will present Emily “better at navigating the city but still struggling with the idiosyncrasies of French life.” That includes her being in a love triangle and her work at Savior, a luxury French marketing company.

“In season 2, she’s going to be more of a part of the fabric of the world she’s living in. She’ll be more of a resident of the city. She’ll have her feet on the ground a little more. She’s making a life there,” creator Darren Star said to Oprah Magazine.

Who are the characters that are coming back?

Producer and star Lily Collins reprises her role as Emily Cooper, alongside returning series regulars Philippine Leroy Beaulieu (Sylvie Grateau), Ashley Park (Mindy), Lucas Bravo (Gabriel), Camille Razat (Camille), Samuel Arnold (Luc), Bruno Gouery (Julien), and William Abadie (Antoine Lambert). Recurring guest stars include Kate Walsh (Madeline), the one who was supposed to go to Paris in season one.

Who are the new people this season?

New cast members Jeremy O. Harris (Gregory Elliott Dupree), Arnaud Binard (Laurent G), Lucien Laviscount (Alfie).

How many episodes will there be?

Much like the first season, there will be 10 new 30-minute episodes.

When will it premiere?

No announcements have been released yet about the show’s premiere date, but Netflix confirms that Emily will be gracing our streaming pleasure again later this year.
