Economic frontliners prioritized in Imus City's newest vaccination site

IMUS, Cavite - The city government opened a new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccination site at Robinson's Place Imus on Wednesday (September 22).

On its first day of operation, the vaccination site inoculated economic frontliners, from small business owners to workers of big enterprises.

In a Facebook post, Mayor Emmanuel L. Maliksi said the local government unit (LGU) aims to protect those who work hard to sustain the city's economy amid the pandemic.

The city government opened a drive-thru vaccination site in the same mall earlier this year.

The LGU continues to boost its vaccination campaign as it deals with 2,293 active cases as of September 22. It is among the top LGUs in the province with the highest numbers of COVID-19, along with Bacoor City and Dasmariñas City.
