Marikina LGU closes central post office due to COVID-19


The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) announced on Monday that operations of the Marikina City Central Post Office have been temporarily suspended after some of its staff contracted COVID-19.

In its Facebook post, PHLPost said that the lockdown started Monday, September 20, and will last until October 3 upon the recommendation of the Marikina City local government.

PHLPost advised its Marikina City Central Post Office customers to proceed to their nearest post office to conduct their transactions.
