The humanitarian organization said it opened its 21st vaccination center in Robinsons Ilocos Norte on Sept. 16 to cater to those residing in San Nicholas town, and nearby areas.

“Patuloy ang pagbukas ng ating mga Bakuna Centers upang mas marami sa ating mga kababayan ang mabakunahan (We will open additional Bakuna Centers so that more Filipinos can be vaccinated),” PRC Chairman and CEO Senator Richard Gordon said in a statement Sunday, Sept. 19.

“Ang bakuna, kasama ang testing, ang ating sandata sa giyera natin sa COVID (Vaccines, along with testing, are our weapon in our war on COVID). Let us win our war against COVID, do you part, get vaccinated,” he added.

As of Sept. 18, the PRC’s Bakuna Centers has vaccinated a total of 233,142 individuals, 76,139 of whom were fully vaccinated.

Individuals jabbed are included in the priority list for COVID-19 vaccination set by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF).

“Mabisa ang lahat ng bakuna at nakakaligtas ito ng buhay (All vaccines are effective and can save lives),” Gordon said.

“Hinihikayat ko ang lahat ng Pilipino na magpabakuna na ngayon, ito ang ating solution sa COVID-19 (I encourage all Filipinos to get vaccinated now, this is our solution to COVID-19),” he added.
