A couple of months back, the PS5's DualSense controllers got two new colors: Cosmic Red and Midnight Black. Both look gorgeous. Now, in line to keep things a bit uniform, Sony has announced the Pulse 3D headset will have a Midnight Black version. Available on October 29 in Southeast Asian countries.
Sony admitted that players can enjoy 3D audio through other headsets, but stressed out the Pulse 3D uses the PS5's Tempest 3D AudioTech to create more precise on-screen sounds.
In line with this, Sony has announced their next PS5 system update will include an equalizer control to enhance the Pulse 3D's performance.
No word on a Cosmic Red version, which is a shame, because personally I liked that more.
