Paranaque City starts vaccination registration for 12 to 17 years old


The Paranaque City government opened on Thursday (September 16) the vaccination registration for residents, 12 to 17 years old, against COVID-19.

Mayor Edwin Olivarez said minors who want to sign up for the vaccination program with the theme: “Bakuna Para Sa YO (young ones), may do so at https://paranaquecity.ph/paraquenyo.

Olivarez said minors can also send an email to [email protected] if they have any question on the vaccination program.

The city government announced on Friday, September 17, that due to the high number of vaccine registrants among the youths, their email host experienced technical issue and is currently resolving the problem.

The mayor assured that the registration for COVID-19 vaccination was recorded in their server. Those who have registered may verify their status by visiting paranaquecity.ph/paranaquenyo/registrado.

Olivarez said only the registration of YOs who are residents of the city and or students of Paranaque-based schools will be accepted at the moment.

The Paranaque City government was among local government units that have started the registration of minors after the Food and Administration approved the vaccination of 12 to 17 years old using the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines.
