To say that medicine as a science and as a profession is essential in a time of pandemic is a huge understatement. It arms us against possible illnesses that could be worsened by COVID-19. It calms our nerves and makes us feel safe and our loved ones protected. That’s why it is just right to recognize the art and science that go behind medicine. And through Presidential Proclamation No. 439 issued by then-President Elpidio Quirino in 1957, we have been celebrating Medicine Week for more than six decades.

This year, in observance of the special week, the Department of Medicine of St. Luke’s Medical Center-Global City invites all doctors to their postgraduate course entitled “Proficiency Levels Unlocked At Skills Central (PLUS) Postgraduate Course” on September 20-24, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM PHST.

The week-long event will tackle clinical subjects, from fluid management and urinoscopy to insulin therapy, online for free.
