No one is immune against COVID-19.

Not even beauty queens.

Miss Universe Philippines national director Shamcey Supsup recently took to social media relating to fans how she battled COVID-19 for three weeks.

Thankfully, she won.

According to the Miss Universe 2011 third-runner up, she initially thought it was a common flu, noting that she and the rest of her family have already been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

She said, “It came as a shock because we were all fully vaccinated but we still got infected and even had mild to moderate symptoms…”
