Korean actor Park Seo-joon posted his first photo taken in London, England a week after he left South Korea to film Marvel Studios’ “The Marvels.”

“Before sunset,” the 32-year-old star of “Itaewon Class” posted on his Instagram account on Sept. 10 along with a photo of the London skyline, which received 1.5 million likes as of writing. Fans pointed out that the tall structure in the background is the BT Tower in London.

He left South Korea last Sept. 3 and boarded his flight to London. On the day of his departure, his agency, Awesome Entertainment, confirmed that he will appear in a Marvel Studios movie.

“Park Seo Joon confirmed his appearance in the Marvel Studios movie and left the country this afternoon,” the agency said.

It added, “We would like to thank the many people who have shown interest and support for Park Seo-joon's new challenge. We are aware that many people are curious about the name of the work, the character, the filming location and the filming period. More information about the movie will be announced at a later date.”

An exclusive report by Korean media outlet Star News last June stated that Park Seo-joon was cast in “The Marvels” after getting an offer earlier this year to be in the film. His role in the film has not been revealed.

“The Marvels” is a sequel to “Captain Marvel” and will star Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani with Nia DaCosta as director. It will be released in theaters on Nov. 11, 2022.

The report added that Park Seo-joon will return to South Korea after filming “The Marvels” by the end of the year.
