Tatak Bulakenyo trade fair opens virtually for MSMEs


The Provincial Government of Bulacan holds the Tatak Bulakenyo Virtual Trade Fair for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and cooperatives from September 9 to 15.

The Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office will lead the online trade fair that aims to help the MSMEs cope with the effects of the pandemic.

Twenty-five exhibitors are expected to participate in the fair where they will offer Tatak Bulakenyo products like longganisa, minasa, and chicharon as well as products from Pampanga using the Tatak Bulakenyo Facebook page.

Governor Daniel R. Fernando, Bulacan State University President Dr. Cecilia Gascon, and Plaridel Assistant Municipal Administrator Edilberto Mendoza led the unveiling of the heritage marker at the Simboryo ng Quingua in Plaridel, Bulacan on Wednesday, September 8.

The heritage marker commemorates the historic Battle Of Quingua (now Plaridel) where the Filipinos triumphed over the American Forces in their fight for freedom. It also commemorates the death of Col. John Stotsenberg, a prominent figure of the Philippine-American war.
