Pangasinan gov inspects ongoing construction of ₱300-M Convention Center project


BUGALLON, Pangasinan – Governor Amado Espino III inspected the ongoing construction of the 18-hectare Pangasinan Convention and Multi-Purpose Center (PCMPC) in Barangay Umanday here on Sunday, Sept. 5.

The provincial government has allocated some P300 million fund for the design and first phase of the project.

Based on the project plan, PCMPC has a seating capacity of 8,237 and a full-time capacity of 10,010.

The provincial government also plans to build a four-storey hotel, restaurant, olympic-size swimming pools for children and adults, an activity area, and a wide parking lot within the 4,865.00 sq.m land area.

Espino together with other provincial government officials led the groundbreaking ceremony of the PCMPC on Mar. 26, 2019.

Meanwhile, Espino also visited the ongoing construction of the 1,710 sq.m medical ward inside the Lingayen District Hospital with new diagnostic and emergency rooms.

The provincial chief executive likewise inspected other construction projects of the provincial government such as the building and warehouse of the Provincial Engineering Office and the General Services Office.
