QC starts inoculating pregnant women against COVID-19


The Quezon City government on Saturday started inoculating expecting mothers against COVID-19.

Pregnant women who are in their second and third trimesters are allowed to be vaccinated.

Before the vaccination, they will be checked up by doctors of the QC Health Department and will be required to sign a consent form declaring that they are willing to be inoculated.

The following vaccination sites are open for expecting mothers:

District 1 - Esteban Abada Elementary School

District 2 - Batasan National High School

District 3 - Quirino Elementary School

District 4 - Pinyahan Elementary School

District 5 - Kaligayahan Activity Center

District 6 - Pasong Tamo Elementary School

On August 12, the Department of Health (DOH) included pregnant women in the expanded A3 priority group.
