Stray Kids, The Boyz, TXT, ASTRO, Red Velvet top monthly physical album sales in August

K-pop boy bands Stray Kids, The Boyz, TXT and ASTRO, and girl group Red Velvet led the monthly physical album sales in South Korea in August.

According to Korea’s Hanteo Chart, which announced the best-selling albums in August, Stray Kids’ “Noeasy,” released on Aug. 23, is No. 1 with 711,888 copies sold for the month.

The Boyz’s “Thrill-ing,” which came out on Aug. 9, grabbed second place with 586,068 copies sold in August.

TXT’s repackaged album “The Chaos Chapter: Fight or Escape,” released on Aug. 17, placed third with 495,177 copies sold.

ASTRO’s eight mini-album “Switch On,” which dropped on Aug. 2, is in fourth place with 292,791 copies in sales for the month.

Red Velvet’s comeback album “Queendom,” released on Aug. 16, took fifth place with 218,293 copies sold.

Here are the top 30 best-selling physical albums in South Korea in August, according to Hanteo Chart:
