A fire broke out at a residential building in Mandaluyong City on Thursday morning, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported.
In its initial report, the BFP said the fire hit the 27th floor of Mega Tower residential building in Barangay Highway Hills.
First alarm was raised at 10:26 a.m.
Thick black smoke could be seen billowing into the sky as firefighters tried to extinguish the blaze.
