Manila stops COVID-19 vaccination, probes problems in online vax system

The Manila Health Department (MHD) stopped the COVID-19 vaccination in all sites after technical problems were reported in the city government's online vaccination system on Wednesday (Sept. 1).

"All vaccination sites (for both first dose and second dose) were declared closed beginning 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 1, 2021," the department said in a statement.

Dr. Arnold "Poks" Pangan, MHD chief, said the department is currently "looking into why the online vaccination system was down."

There's still no announcement when the vaccination will resume.
