Coding scheme, truck ban in Metro Manila still suspended — MMDA

The truck ban in most parts of Metro Manila and the implementation of the number coding scheme remain suspended, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority announced Wednesday, Sep. 1.

In its advisory, MMDA said the number coding scheme is still suspended as the 'ber months' started.

This is to give way for the unhampered delivery of essential goods and for the operation of business establishments allowed by the national government.

Meanwhile, there is still no prohibition on trucks passing along Metro Manila's major thoroughfares, except along EDSA—from Magallanes Interchange in Makati City to North Avenue in Quezon City. The policy will take effect until Sept. 7, according to MMDA.
