G4 anything
Mitsubishi offers you a car that is game (G) for anything, in the form of the new Mirage G4. Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) just unveiled its latest iteration. The refreshed subcompact sedan comes with sportier styling and updated features and amenities.
Styling
The new Mirage G4 now has a more aggressive front end with the Dynamic Shield design, sharing a common design look with Mitsubishi’s other models. It’s got new sporty headlights, fog lamps and a new grille. It’s equipped with newly-designed 15-inch alloy wheels and there’s also the redesigned rear end.
Powerplant
Under the hood, the new Mirage G4 keeps its efficient MIVEC 1.2L three-cylinder engine which puts out 78-hp of max power at 6,000 rpm and 100-Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, mated to the INVECS-III CVT or a five-speed manual transmission.
Interior and convenience
Getting into the new G4 is easy with the Keyless Operation System (KOS), unlocking the door, opening the trunk, and starting on the engine with the Push Start button while the smart key is in your pocket.
The interior remains spacious. It can accommodate five adults while still having a sizeable trunk space. It has a height-adjustable driver seat, paired with a tilt-adjustable, leather wrapped, electric power assisted steering. On the wheel, it has controls for audio.
The entertainment system is a seven-inch Smartphone-Link Display Audio (SDA) Touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, Tuner and USB port. The instrument cluster has a new look, with a new high-contrast meter design highlighted with a carbon fiber look and a Multi-information Display Monitor in the center. It’s equipped with auto climate control.
Safety
The new Mitsubishi Mirage G4 has a suite of safety features such as a Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) body, dual SRS airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), ISOFix anchor points for child seats, a reverse camera and auto-off headlights.
Price and color availability
The new Mirage G4 comes in three variants. The top-of-the-line GLS CVT is priced at P899,000. The GLX CVT is P819,000, and the GLX M/T is P769,000. It’s available in four colors: Red Metallic, Titanium Gray Metallic, Cool Silver Metallic and White Solid.
To enhance the new G4’s ownership experience, MMPC is adding a two-years or 25,000 km (whichever comes first) free Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) package with free sanitation service to all customers who purchase a Mirage G4 from August 28 to November 30, 2021. The new Mirage G4 is now available at authorized Mitsubishi dealers nationwide.
