"Nasa 83.29% (P567.8M) na ng kabuuang budget na ibinaba ng nasyonal na pamahalaan bilang ECQ financial assistance ang naipamahagi ng ating Ayuda Team (Our ayuda team have distributed 83.29% of our P567.8M ECQ financial assistance from the national government)," the LGU said.

"Ito ay matapos na makapag-distribute ng nasa P48.6M sa mga nasa expanded pockets of poverty sa limang barangay kahapon, Aug. 25, 2021 (This is after we have distributed P48.6M to our expanded pockets of poverty in five barangays yesterday, Aug. 25, 2021)," it added.

The LGU (local government unit) said that the disbursement of ayuda, together with the distribution of grocery packs and the house-to-house distribution of the Vaccination Profiling Forms in the city, will be completed this week. It added that there are only around 10 more barangays who have yet to be visited by Pasig's ayuda team.

Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto said last August 6 that besides the ECQ ayuda, the city government will also give 260,000 food packs and grocery packs to its beneficiaries.

“Nagpabili rin tayo ng food packs dahil alam naman natin hindi po sapat, kahit naman ang nasyonal ay inaamin po talagang mayroong hindi po mabibigyan, ginawa po namin, nagpabili po kami ng food packs (We have procured food packs because as we know, as admitted by the national government, the financial aid is not enough, so we bought food packs),” Sotto said.
