Malabon accepts walk-ins in 7 vaccination sites


Malabon has accepted walk-ins in its seven vaccination sites on Thursday, Aug. 26.

The sites which allowed walk-ins were Ninoy Aquino Elementary School, Robinsons Town Mall Malabon, Epifanio Delos Santos Elementary School, Portero Elementary School, Fishermall, Arellano University Elisa Esguerra Campus, and Oreta Sports Complex.

Vaccination in all sites except for Oreta Sports Complex started at 8 a.m. and would end at 2 p.m.

For Oreta Sports Complex, vaccination would start from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m..

A special lane was also designated for senior citizens who would receive their first dose in the seven vaccination sites.

Seniors were allowed to line up with one companion in a special lane.

Vaccination for individuals who have obtained schedules for vaccination would also continue in the seven sites, and in the Sts. Peter and John Parish in Portero.

Meanwhile, the LGU said those who were scheduled for second dose today should receive their jabs at the site where they got their first dose.

When asked by the Manila Bulletin if the city would continue to accept walk-ins after today, the Malabon Public Information Office said: "Hanggat kukunti ang nag papa vaccine, may walk-in (As long as the turnout of individuals who want to receive the vaccine remains low, we will allow walk-ins)
