GSIS resumes daily on-site operations

The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) has resumed its daily on-site operations amid the reimposition of the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) in Metro Manila.


The GSIS Head Office in Pasay and its branch offices in Quezon City, Bataan, and Laguna will resume the daily operations eCard enrollment and card releasing; cashiering; check releasing; issuance of clearance and certifications; final statements of account; and housing and nonlife insurance transactions.

The operating hours of on-site services will be from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, except cashiering which will be open from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

GSIS said all clients who are already in their service areas by 12 noon or at the cashier by 3 p.m. will be accommodated.

The filing of applications for all loans and claims will be through email, eGSISMO, GWAPS kiosks, or drop boxes stationed at the lobbies of GSIS offices.

Payment of individuals loans may also be done through Bayad Center partners.

Meanwhile, the conduct of Annual Pensioners’ Information Revalidation (APIR) interviews will be done online. Pensioners may schedule their online APIR through text or email.

Metro Manila is under MECQ until Aug. 31.
