Looking at a watch has become more than just knowing the time. With smartwatches popping in here and there and unknown brands offering affordable yet questionable smartwatch performance, you’ll get burned out from figuring out which smartwatch to get.

I am one of those who spent a few thousand pesos for a cheap smartwatch and ended up getting disappointed due to its questionable pedometer and more. But soon after, I decided to stick with trustworthy brands. I got myself a Huawei Band 4e a few years ago, and it was one of the best smartwatches I have bought.

But curiosity got the best of me when I heard about Huawei’s new smartwatch, which runs with Harmony OS. The Huawei Watch 3 levels up the smartwatch game as it packs features that Filipino consumers are excited to utilize fully.

Its 1.42-inch circular screen is big enough to see the information you need, but it is just right on your wrist without it looking like the bulky power ranger watch. It comes with a rubber strap that can be easily replaced with whatever strap design you want. Of course, Huawei will also offer straps for the Huawei Watch 3 to fit your ever-changing fashion style.

What’s interesting with the Huawei Watch 3 is that you can install compatible apps directly into the watch. This is due to its use of the Harmony OS and its independent capability to connect to the Wifi. With the App Gallery already installed in the Huawei Watch 3, you can download apps for fitness, music, travel, and more.

Apart from this, the Huawei Watch 3 also features an E-sim to connect to a mobile network. With this, you can activate the voice assistant and listen to your watch’s response. Through its E-sim, you can also make a call. Unfortunately, though, this feature is not yet widely available in the country as of the moment. But I’m sure that once this is available, consumers will be able to fulfill their super-spy dreams and fully communicate using your watch!

It is also interesting to note that it can also take temperature via Skin Temperature Detector so that you can monitor and track your body temperature.

Connecting the Huawei Watch 3 to your phone is also easy. This is one of the smartwatches that I have encountered that is easy to sync with your phone, and it wouldn’t take much of your time.

After downloading the Huawei Health app, scan the QR code from the Huawei Watch 3, and it will finish the job for you. Once done, the Huawei Watch 3 will connect quickly to your phone without worry.

In terms of watch faces, you have a lot to choose from between free and paid designs. But even with the free designs, you’ll for sure have trouble choosing one because there are a lot of lovely designs that you can have a new watch face every day.

With all the new features of the Huawei Watch 3, it is exciting to see how this device helps you with your daily health and productivity routines. With the E-sim feature, the Huawei Watch 3 is undoubtedly a game-changer just as much as the entire Huawei Ecosystem.
