Miss Philippines Dindi Pajares finished among the top 12 of Miss Supranational 2021 pageant in Poland last Saturday night (Sunday morning, Manila time).

Chanique Rabe of Namibia was crowned Miss Supranational 2021.

Other winners: Puerto Rico, 1st runner-up; South Africa, 2nd runner-up; Venezuela, 3rd runner-up; and Dominican Republic, 4th runner-up.

Earlier, Dindi won 1st runner-up in the Miss Elegance competition of the pageant. She was also included in the top 10 Supra fan votes.

Dindi earned the right to represent the Philippines in Miss Supranational 2021 pageant after she topped the polls participated in by candidates of Miss World Philippines (MWP) 2021 and MWP officials.

A native from Orani Bataan, Dindi is an entrepreneur, flight attendant, military sergeant and a reserve commander for the Philippine Air Force.

Before joining Miss Supranational, Dindi competed in Miss Philippines Earth 2011; Binibining Pilipinas 2016 and 2017; and Miss World Philippines 2020, where she was crowned Miss Supranational Philippines 2021.

Dindi also shared a humbling story behind the evening gown she wore during the pre-pageant competition.

Her evening gown was designed by Angeiline Texon, a senior high school designer from Bataan.

“This gown has a very humbling story. Despite constraints in resources, Angeiline Texon @bespokeangeiline, a senior high school designer from Bataan, province of the Philippines, was able to make this work of art come to life.

“This was made only for two (2) days, shortly before I left for Poland, using a sewing machine donated by the government (4P's -Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program) to the poor constituents. It warms my heart that such simple pieces achieve tremendous feat and are recognized internationally (bagging the first-runner-up for Miss Elegance of Miss Supranational 2021)," said Dindi.

Mutya Johanna Datul is the first Filipino beauty queen to win Miss Supranational in 2013.
