BTS’ Jimin, ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo, and BTS’ Jin, V and Jungkook topped the individual boy band member brand reputation rankings for the month of August.
The Korea Corporate Research Institute analyzed 87.42 million brand big data covering 632 members of K-pop boy bands from July 21 to Aug. 21, a decrease of 5.47 percent from 92.47 million in July.
Their brand reputation index was based on consumer participation, media exposure, communication and community indices.
For the 32nd straight month, BTS’ Jimin topped the ranking, getting a brand reputation index of 6.05 million in August, up by 4.91 percent from his July score of 5.77 million.
ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo rose from fourth place to second place in August, getting a score of 4.4 million, an increase of 1.12 percent from 4.35 million in July.
BTS’ Jin ranked third with a brand reputation index of 4.27 million, rising 27.13 percent from sixth place score of 3.36 percent in July.
BTS’ V slid from third to fourth place in August, garnering a brand reputation score of 4.23 million, down 6 percent from 4.5 million last month.
BTS’ Jungkook maintained his fifth place ranking, getting a brand reputation index of 3.89 million, a decrease of 6.31 percent from 4.15 million last July.
