Cassy and Mavy Legaspi known for being the adorable twins are building up a name in the showbiz industry by continuing their journey on being a Kapuso.

During a Zoom press conference with Cassy and Mavy on Aug. 16, the siblngs both 20-years-old expressed their gratitude to GMA for renewing their contract.

Both rising stars are looking forward to the new beginnings under GMA Artist Center. Cassy and Mavy are glad for the trust GMA put on them.

From being usually put together in projects as twins, Cassy and Mavy decided to enter the showbiz to make a name for themselves, separate from each other and the name of their parents, reputable stars Carmina and Zoren Legaspi.

The twins are steadily climbing to the peak of their careers. Mavy just finished his first lock-in taping for the drama romance series, “I Left My Heart in Sorsogon” starring alongside Heart Evangelista, and Cassy hinting at taking level-up roles for her new projects after wrapping up the drama rom-com TV series “First Yaya.”

On being both actors, the twins shared that there would be times Cassy is receiving more love, and there would be times that Mavy is thriving above Cassy, but they reaffirm that there is no competition or rivalry between them. They show support professionally by monitoring and giving feedback to each other.

“Our parents created a dynamic and healthy environment, and we’re very thankful for that,” Mavy said.

The Legaspis could be the modern family.

Asked if they want to work with their parents Carmina and Zoren for a series, Cassy answered: "Yes, if given the opportunity." They are looking forward to bringing the project to life. But for now, they would like to focus on their careers and ongoing projects.

They shared a nostalgic story that, back then, when they would visit their parents during their taping, they would imagine themselves as the main actors or the role of their parents.
