An emotional Health Secretary Francisco Duque III lashed at the Commission on Audit (COA) for depriving his agency of the chance to explain its side on accusations that it had mismanaged P67.32 billion in coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic funds.

A Social Weather Station (SWS) survey showed that Filipinos were largely satisfied with the accessibility of vaccination sites, while half was disappointed with the pace the inoculation rollout has taken.

Meanwhile, 35 Filipinos have made it back to the country after escaping the civil strife in Afghanistan.
