Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso announced on Friday (August 13) that slots for its drive-thru vaccination will be doubled.

"Bubuksan muli ng inyong registration sa manilacovid19vaccine.ph. Hindi lang ho natin itutuloy, dodoblehin natin (We will open again the registration at manilacovid19vaccine.ph. We will not only continue it, we will double it)," he said.

The city government will open the 200 slots for Aug. 16 to 22 vaccination on Friday (Aug. 13). Those who want to reserve may go to www.manilacovid19vaccine.ph for further information.

"Ang maganda po, dati 100 slots lang, ngayon po ay 200 slots na ang ipamimigay natin (What's good about this is before we only had 100 slots, now we have 200 slots to give," Domagoso said.

A person who has managed to reserve a slot can bring up to three family members as long as they are registered for the vaccination.

Domagoso earlier said all those who wish to reserve a slot must register first.

Only four-wheel vehicles will be allowed at the drive-thru vaccination area as the city government wants people to be protected when it rains.

The drive-thru vaccination was launched on July 31 at the Luneta Park to make vaccine deployment easier for residents during the rainy season.
