Are they APORs too? Pig, goat inside van makes Nebrija break into a song

Do farm animals count as authorized persons outside of residence (APORs) during this enhanced community quarantine (ECQ)?

Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) traffic czar Edison Bong Nebrija probably had this question in mind Thursday, Aug. 12 after his team ran into a van along EDSA that had a pig and a goat as "passengers".

"Nagmistulang Old Mcdonald’s Farm yung EDSA ng makawala yung baboy sa van....E I E IO! (EDSA turned it on Old McDonald's Farm when the pig escaped the van...E I E IO!)" wrote Nebrija in a Facebook post Thursday afternoon, calling back to a popular nursery rhyme.

The post carried photos of the van and its four-legged occupants, which looked farm-raised more than anything else. It's not yet clear as of this writing exactly what spurred the traffic enforcers to flag down the vehicle in the first place.

However, a witty commenter in Percival Bayhon tried to make sense out of the strange situation by telling Nebrija, "Essential yan sir caldereta at adobo (Those are essential sir, caldereta and adobo)."
