These were some of the developments as as the OCTA Research Group also reported that the ICU occupancy in hospitals in nine cities in different parts of the Philippines has reached critical level due to the COVID-19 surge.

The distribution of the much-awaited cash aid in Metro Manila for the “poorest of the poor” is also slated to start.

These are among the top stories this Wednesday morning, August 11, 2021.

Gratitude is best seen as conveyed from a child’s eyes as this girl holds a meal box and a carton of milk she received from the Kalinga Foundation in an outreach program at the Mac Arthur Bridge in Manila on Tuesday, August 20, 2021.
