Star For All Seasons Vilma Santos-Recto is the latest celebrity who is considering to run for the Senate in 2022.

During an appearance for the vlog of her son Luis Manzano and daughter-in-law Jessy Mendiola, the 67-year-old public servant noted that she and her family are still finalizing her political plan.

The congresswoman of Lipa said that she can run again as a policy-maker for the third time or join the Senate. But she can also retire from politics and return to showbiz.

“As of now, nothing is final,” she said.

But Vilma admitted that she knows, deep in her heart, she could still help many people.

“I’m considering it. Pinag-uusapan pa rin namin what’s the best. Kasi, if you will expect me to be going around physically with the present situation ng COVID, baka mahirapan po tayo,” said the senior celebrity.

Vilma said that if she decides to try the Senate, she has a mentor who will guide her, referring to her husband, Senator Ralph G. Recto.
