Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar appealed to city residents not to visit any vaccinations site around the city without receiving a QR Code or ID number to avoid long lines and exposure to possible virus carriers.
Aguilar said vaccination sites will only serve residents who are scheduled to receive vaccines and must show the text message they received and the QR Code or the ID number.
To avoid the long lines at vaccination sites, the city government came out with an advisory prohibiting residents from lining up at vaccination sites during curfew hours.
The mayor said police and barangay officials will be deployed to strictly implement the new curfew hours from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. under the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).
Aguilar said the city government will continue to serve and conduct vaccinations during ECQ.
