Deped said 90,394 personnel reported that they have already been vaccinated against coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Of this, 82,390 are teaching personnel, and 8,004 are non-teaching employees.

“90,394 DepEd personnel have self-reported their vaccination status as of August 1,2021,” it wrote on Facebook on Wednesday.

DepEd has been asking its teaching and non-teaching personnel to share information and status of their vaccination against COVID-19.

“All 1M+ DepEd teaching and non-teaching personnel are encouraged to report their vaccination status, even those who have not yet received their first dose, through the DepEd Mobile App,” the post read.

DepEd has developed its own mobile app “to give our personnel and teachers a hassle-free and contactless way of handing out their vaccination status.”

“We urgently need the situationer on the ground to enable the Department in planning for SY (School Year) 2021-2022,” DepEd said.
