Reports of the growing presence of the Delta coronavirus disease (COVID-19) variant in many parts of the country continued to be confirmed by the Department of Health (DOH) and the OCTA Research Group, even as preparations for the two-week enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) reached fever pitch with the distribution of ‘ayuda’ and conduct of more vaccination being planned ahead of its August 6 to August 20 implementation.

Not so good news from Tokyo, Japan as Filipino EJ Obiena failed to obtain a podium finish in pole vault competition of the 2020 Olympics.
