Coco Martin recalls getting turned down by Julia Montes

Coco Martin admitted in an interview that his first meeting with Julia Montes was "awkward" at best.

He would go on to share that it was basically his fault.

Coco revealed, "Nagtangka ako sa kanya. Hindi nagtangkang ano... nagtangkang mambola. Na-reject ako!"

Note that at that time Julia was only 13 and Coco was in his mid-20s.

They would work together anew a few years later in 2012 via "Walang Hanggan."

Coco went on, "Dahil na-reject ako before, parang feeling ko: 'Ah ganu'n, ah.'

Anyway, Julia is now busy preparing for her TV comeback as she joins her rumored boyfriend's longtime running teleserye "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano."

In there, the young actress would play the role of Mara, the daughter of Rosanna Roces' character and granddaughter of Tommy Abuel's Armando.

During a story conference with the new cast, Tommy shared he'll be among Coco's allies.

Meanwhile, Joseph Marco's Lucas is Mara's childhood friend who is secretly in love with her.
