Arrested during the operation were Reggie Pariño, 28, and Jerry Adriano, 33, both residents of Barangay Lower Bicutan, police said.

Seized from the duo were about 250 grams of suspected shabu worth P1.7 million and a brown box containing transparent plastic with shabu.

The confiscated evidence was sent to the crime laboratory for confirmatory testing while the suspects were placed under police custody pending the filing of charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

National Capital Region Police Office chief Police Major Gen. Vicente Danao Jr. commended the team for the operation.

“I congratulate our colleagues on the successful arrest of two suspects and confiscation of a large amount of drugs in Taguig,” he said.
