PBA postpones Phoenix-Blackwater game; Meralco-Alaska duel pushes through

The PBA has postponed the game between Phoenix and Blackwater set on Saturday, July 31 due to health and safety reasons.

"The PBA game between Blackwater Bossing and Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters, scheduled July 31, 2021, Saturday at 2 p.m., will be postponed to a later date in accordance with the league's health and safety protocols," the league said in an advisory posted on Friday night.

Phoenix (1-3) was hoping to get back on the winning track after losing 80-91 to Meralco last Wednesday while Blackwater (0-4) was looking to score its breakthrough win.

Meanwhile, the game between Meralco (3-1) and Alaska (2-2) will push through as scheduled at 4:30 p.m.
