The long wait is over!

Rumored couple Coco Martin and Julia Montes will be sharing the small screen via "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano."

During an episode of "TV Patrol" on ABS-CBN, the Kapamilya stars appeared together for the first time for an interview about the upcoming episodes of the highly-rated action series.

Coco said that Julia is now preparing for her role as his leading lady.

"Tine-train ko siya sa baril. Sa pag mo-motor, sa fight - lahat," the actor excitedly teased.

Coco admitted he was so tensed during their story conference recently.

"Nung nag-bi-brainstorming, ako 'yung tensyonado kasi siyempre parang makakasama ko siya eh. Alam mo yung hindi ako pwedeng magkamali this time. Parang ganu'n. Dito pa ba ako sasablay?"

As for Julia, she was amazed at Coco's creative side.

"To be part of this big project, parang hindi makukumpleto ang career o trabaho mo as actor pag di ka nakapasok sa 'Probinsyano.'"

Coco and Julia were asked why their love team works.

"Chemistry… Pagsasamahan namin ni Juls, mga bonding," said Coco.

Julia continued: "Siguro po yung comfortability namin sa isa't-isa. Lalo ako, sobrang mahiyain ako pero pag kasama ko siya, yun, na re-relax and masaya lang lahat."

It was in 2012 when Coco and Julia first shared the screen through the romantic melodrama series "Walang Hanggan." Then it was followed with the film "A Moment In Time" and another teleserye "Ikaw Lamang" in 2013 and 2014, respectively.

Before the announcement of their TV reunion, Coco and Julia did a lock-in taping in Pola, Oriental Mindoro for their upcoming comeback project under the helm of acclaimed filmmaker Brillante Mendoza.
