Widus Hotel and Casino general manager Tarek Aouini recently confirmed the “Multiple-Use Hotel” accreditation of Clark’s one-stop entertainment and hospitality destination from the Department of Tourism (DOT). With this, the property can now be used for quarantine, leisure, and business-related purposes.
“We’re very excited to welcome our guests as we reopen more restaurants and facilities, which they can safely enjoy. We will also offer al fresco barbecue and samgyeopsal buffet on weekends, which our diners really missed,” Aouini said.
The four-star hotel, which is also known for its popular food and beverage outlets, has recently reopened Salt, an all-day casual dining restaurant, and Peppers Twenty-One, North Luzon’s first fine-dining steakhouse.
To reassure a worry-free dining experience, enhanced health and sanitation measures are diligently applied from food preparation to table service.
Before entry, all guests are required to wear their face masks and face shields, undergo mandatory temperature scan, and fill out a health declaration form conveniently scanned through a QR code.
The gastronomic experience begins as guests are assisted to their designated seats while observing strict physical distancing. Individually sterilized and plastic-sealed utensils are also prepared for all guests.
Further hygiene measures include provision of paper bags for face masks to prevent the spread of viruses and contactless payment solutions via Alipay, WeChat Pay, and online bank transfer.
In adherence to the IATF rules, the food and beverage outlet operates at a 50 percent maximum capacity and has allocated food attendants in personal protective gear to safely accommodate guests and serve food.
As it opens its doors to business and staycation bookings, recreational facilities and amenities like the gym, spa, and pool are also open for regular inhouse guests to enjoy.
Intimate weddings, meetings, and room accommodations are now welcomed in adherence to the government-mandated policies and guidelines.
