Petecio won via split decision as the 29-year-old Filipina boxer waxed hot in the first round, holding up against the Taiwanese slugger despite the height advantage.

Lin, however, bounced back in the second and gave Petecio a taste of her own medicine.

The third round proved to be instrumental for the 29-year-old Petecio as she unloaded a flurry of punches to haul as many points en route to the victory.
