While Aljur Abrenica remains silent about his breakup with his wife Kylie Padilla, the hunk actor has said that he chooses to be happy with his career and personal life.
“Masaya po talaga. Masaya ako. And when it comes to my personal life, it’s always been a choice. Choice mo pa rin kung magiging masaya ka or hindi,” said Aljur during an interview with the entertainment press recently.
Aljur added: “I choose to be happy. Kapag hindi ko maayos, hindi maayos ang lahat.”
The actor thanked the movie press for respecting his privacy the past weeks.
Aljur also said that he will answer the issues surrounding his private life when he is ready.
He also apologized to some people who were dragged into the breakup controversy.
Aljur (Obet) and Cindy Miranda (Nerisa) star in VIVA’s sexy drama movie tenitled “Nerisa.”
When Obet saves Nerisa, a beautiful maiden floating in the sea, strange things and misfortunes befall on the island.
Since then, “Nerisa” has been blamed for everything and sheʼs even suspected to be a mermaid because of her beauty and mystery.
Lusted by men and envied by women, “Nerisa” doesnʼt care about all the issues thrown at her. The only one that matters is Obet, her savior and now her husband.
So, when Obet went missing after an accident at sea, she committed herself to do and give everything ‒ including her body to find him.
Cindy Miranda and Aljur Abrenica are joined by veteran actors Elizabeth Oropesa and Bembol Roco, and other stars such as AJ Raval, and Sean De Guzman.
Cindy is excited with her role in this movie, and she is ready to prove that she doesnʼt only have the beauty, but she also has the acting talent. Aljur is just very happy and honored to be her leading man in her launching movie. This is the first of Aljurʼs three picture movie contract with Viva Films.
“Nerisa’s” director Lawrence Fajardo also enjoys the creative freedom Viva gave to him in making the movie. The screenplay is written by the multi-awarded and critically acclaimed scriptwriter Ricky Lee. This is the first-time director Fajardo works with Ricky Lee which makes director Fajardo more excited about the movie.
