Manila gov't deploys more than 1.1 million vaccines


More than 1.1 million vaccines have been deployed in Manila since the city government launched its vaccination drive against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) last March.

Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso confirmed in a Facebook post that the city government administered a total of 1,157,017 vaccines as of 9:00 p.m, Friday (July 23).

Out of the more than 1.1 million vaccines deployed, 710,732 were for the first dose while 446,285 were for the second dose.

The city government will continue its mass vaccination for the 1st dose of A1 to A5 priority groups on Saturday (July 24).

The city's vaccination sites for Districts 1 to 6 will have 1,500 doses each; 2,500 doses each at mall sites: and the Holy Trinity Academy will have 1,800 doses.
