The city government of Caloocan City has postponed the vaccination against COVID-19 on Saturday, July 24 due to heavy rain.
In a Facebook post, Mayor Oca Malapitan announced that the vaccination sites will no longer accept individuals.
“Dahil sa patuloy na masamang panahon at posibilidad na magkaroon ng aftershocks dulot ng malakas na paglindol kaninang madaling araw, hindi na po tatanggap ng mga magpapabakuna sa ating mga vaccination site (Due to the continuous bad weather and the possibility of aftershocks caused by the strong earthquake this morning, we will no longer accept individuals at our vaccination sites),” he said.
The vaccination will resume on Monday, July 26.
