2 subdivisions in Bacoor on lockdown due to Delta variant cases

BACOOR CITY - The city government placed two subdivisions on an initial surveillance lockdown on Friday evening (July 23) after one patient from each village tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) Delta variant.

Residents of BF El Grande Subdivision in Barangay Molino VI and Addas 2C in Barangay Molino II are ordered to stay at home for three days, from 12 a.m. on July 24 to 11:59 p.m. on July 26.

Philippine National Police (PNP) Bacoor was ordered to set up checkpoints in the entryways of both subdivisions to make sure that no one leaves and enters the perimeter over the three-day period.

The City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) was directed to provide relief assistance to households affected by the lockdown.

Barangay officials and Home Owners Associations will also assist residents in buying other immediate needs.

The two patients, including their close contacts, are currently staying in an isolation facility.
