Aljur Abrenica's brother shares two cents on cheaters

Actor Vin Abrenica recently did a “Questions We’ve Never Asked Each Other” vlog with fiancee Sophie Albert.

There, he shared his thoughts about men in general supposedly not being able to resist temptation.

Vin said the connotation is "unfair."

“Mayroon talagang temptations na nangyayari sa atin. Pero 'yung nakakalimutan ng statement na 'yun is God gave us a choice and that's His gift to humans, to man. Binigyan Niya tayo ng choice to choose what's right and what's wrong,” he related.

“May taong cheater, will they always be a cheater all his life? Parang it's a choice, he chose to cheat. Or he chose to be tempted. I think that's unfair for guys. It's not a matter of sex, biology, kung lalaki ka or babae ka.”

According to him, if the relationship is not working in the first place, boys shouldn't get their kicks from other girls but consult their respective partners.

"Sasabihin ko sayo 'This is what I want, di mo mabigay,'" he said, relating the importance of "closure" before doing the stuff they want to do.

“Kung makapag-agree kayo na at risk nga 'yung relationship, kung ayaw niyo pa rin ang isa't-isa, then at least you have a closure first. E 'di maghiwalay kayo. Then you do the stuff that you want to do,” he said.

“At least you're not gonna cheat but you're gonna do what you want that can satisfy you. 'Yung pinakaano sa akin is you have a choice. You always have a choice.”

Recall that for the past weeks, Vin's older brother has been a hot topic following Robin Padilla's revelation that his daughter Kylie has broken up with Aljur due to his alleged infidelity.

Anyway, it was only last March when Vin became a first-time dad.
