The story of DC’s Titans continues and grows bigger for season number 3.
HBO Max is set to premiere the new season of DC’s Titans on August 12. The original cast will be back as well as the addition of new characters from the DC universe.
Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson, Teagan Croft (Raven), Anna Diop (Kory Anders/Starfire), Ryan Potter (Gar Logan), Conor Leslie (Donna Troy/Wonder Girl), Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly (as Hawk and Dove), Joshua Orpin (as Superman’s clone Conner), Chelsea Zhang (Rose Wilson/Ravager) and Curran Walters as Jason Todd/Robin will reprise their roles.
A few storylines that will be tackled in the new season will be Dick Grayson finally shedding off his original Robin persona as he takes on the mantle of Nightwing.
Meanwhile Jason Todd, the second Robin, will also go through the wringer due to his disastrous entanglement with The Joker which caused him his life (as it went in the original comic) which eventually gives way to the birth of The Red Hood.
The official HBO Max trailer for Titans released back in June established that Gotham City will figure significantly in the continuation of the Titans saga.
The introduction of well-known DC characters include tech and logistics whiz The Oracle a.k.a. Barbara Gordon played by actress Savannah Welch. Also included in the Titans poster previewed on the official DC Instagram account was Damaris Lewis who is cast as Kory Anders’ sister Blackfire. Jay Lycurgo as Tim Drake/Robin version 3.0 and Vincent Kartheiser as Scarecrow is set to appear in Season 3. Iain Glen will also return in his role as Bruce Wayne.
A new trailer for Season 3 was released last week on HBO Max’s official YouTube channel.
