The Civil Service Commission (CSC) is offering Gender, Diversity, and Social Inclusion course for government executives, and human resource management (HRM) officers next month.
In a Facebook post, the CSC announced that the course will be conducted virtually and will run August 16 to 26.
“We’re inviting government executives/managers, division chiefs, supervisors, and human resource management (HRM) officers!,” read the CSC’s Facebook post on Wednesday.
“Registration is still open for the Gender, Diversity, and Social Inclusion course which will run from August 16-26, 2021 via Zoom webinar.”
The Commission said the course aims to raise civil servants’ awareness on the various dimensions of diversity in the country.
“It seeks to equip the participants with sensitivity to the impact of diversity, usually exclusion of particular groups, especially with respect to gender and to provide tools for handling diversity and fostering a culture of inclusion in their respective workplaces,” it added.
