Fernando received his second dose of the Pfizer vaccine last week at the Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention center, City of Malolos, together with 1,207 employees of the provincial government.

“It’s just right for the governor to be fully vaccinated as he goes around to serve his constituents, particularly in the far-flung areas to let them know what is happening around the province,” the PHO said.

Fully vaccinated Bulakenyos will still continue to take COVID-19 precautions by wearing face masks and face shields, and observing social distancing.

The PHO appealed to those who were already vaccinated to encourage their friends and relatives to get inoculated due to the looming threat of the more transmissible Delta variant of COVID-19.
