Foo Fighters Postpone Forum show due to COVID

The Foo Fighters’ ongoing tour has been put on hold.

The band, in particular, cancelled an upcoming show at The Los Angeles Forum.

Said show was supposed to be held Saturday, July 17.

On their official Instagram account, the band said “Despite having made every effort to follow CDC Covid protocols and local laws, there has been a confirmed Covid-19 case within the Foo Fighters organization.”

It went on to say that, “Out of an abundance of caution and concern for the safety of the band, crew and most of all the fans, Saturday’s show is being postponed to a later date.”

Details on who got infected inside their organization was not disclosed, but the Foo Fighters are not taking any chances.

The band said that ticket holders for the cancelled weekend show will be honored when a new date is announced shortly.

Fans of the Foo Fighters in Los Angeles were looking forward to the show in what was supposed to be the first time at the 18,000-capacity Forum after it closed last year due to the pandemic.

The Foo Fighters held a successful concert when it reopened Madison Square Garden last June 20. The MSG show was seen by an all-vaccinated audience.

The Foo Fighters are touring behind their most recent album “Medicine At Midnight” and their 26th year anniversary celebration as a band.
