Rep. Zamora bared this during an event in San Juan City that declared it as the very first local government unit in the country which has successfully vaccinated more than 70 percent of its total population against COVID-19.

"Kung nagtataka kayo bakit si Congressman Zamora ay hindi nagma-mask, sasabihin ko sa inyo. I have been vaccinated twice, twice over. Apat (If you were wondering why Congressman Zamora is not wearing any mask, I will tell you. I have been vaccinated twice, twice over. Four times)," Rep. Zamora said in his speech.

"Noong December na-vaccinated ako... Sinopharm. Sino ang nakakuha ng Sinopharm sa Pilipinas? Isa doon si President Duterte. Kung pareho ang pinagkuhanan namin, pareho kaming bootleg (Last December I was vaccinated using Sinopharm. Who else got the Sinopharm vaccine? One of them is President Duterte. If we both got the vaccine from the same source, then both of us got bootlegs)," the solon added.

Zamora said that received booster doses of Pfizer.

The national government has yet to issue an emergency use authorization for Sinopharm vaccines and only a compassionate use permit was given to it by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Only seven COVID-19 vaccines have been given Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) by the FDA. These are Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Sputnik V, Janssen, Bharat Biotech, Moderna, and Sinovac.

Zamora's son, San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora, said that as of July 11, the city has already administered 96,610 first doses which is equivalent to 112.18 percent of its target population to achieve herd immunity, while 29,313 residents received their second dose.
